We are very excited to have invested in lots of new equipment to further improve our facilities and variety of activities for the children. We have new outdoor equipment such as bikes and pushchairs and new resources totaling £3,500 have been purchased for the pre-school including art and craft materials, age appropriate educational toys and games, a light box, tables, storage equipment, a sofa and two new iPads in order to update the pre-school’s learning environment
We have a fun and friendly committee, but we are always looking for more people to join us, either as Trustees of the pre school or just for volunteering on a casual basis, for such things as helping out at our stall at the annual village fete or other fund raising events etc. Please do get in touch with our Chair Alison Cordiner [email protected] if you are interested in helping us out.
Please be aware that we have a revised end of term date for the summer term. The pre school will now finish at 3.00 on Friday 15th July.
We are looking forwards to welcoming you all back for the start of the Summer Term. We look forwards to many fun activities and a pre school trip to Tiggywinkles. In addition we will be preparing our Butterflies for starting school in September.
On Monday 15th March Preschool were very excited to be invited by the school to listen to the firemen talk about their important job and how to stay safe in our homes. We even went in the fire engine and heard the siren, it was very loud!
Recently the children at preschool have been thinking about the blossom growing on trees. They decorated the tree with the blossom they made.
We are planning a fundraiser in the form of a Beetle Drive with an optional supper in the village hall on Saturday 27th February 2016. It will be from 4.30 to 6.30 and we will have the Beetle Drive, supper and then a mini disco for the children. Further details will follow over the next few weeks. We hope you can join us.
Lots of preparation is happening for the Nativity Play on the 17th December. Parents are welcome to come and join us at 11.30 in the Village Hall.
We look forwards to seeing you there. Welcome to our new Manager of the pre school Claire Rutherford who joined us in November. Claire has lots of experience in this field and is busy settling in and getting to know all the children, parents and staff.
